THE ORIGINS OF ALQUARISM

Alquarism is an artistic movement born in France in the 2010s, founded by the artist Kub.
This avant-garde movement, whose neologism originates from the name Al-Khwarizmi, a Persian scholar who laid the foundations of algorithm and algebra.

It defines itself as the expression of a codified language of rational thought. Its foundation lies in the conviction that a higher reality governs the infinite mystery of the natural proportion that shapes creation.

Alquarism explores the invisible mechanisms of creation and considers that a work of art is born from a system of rules and relationships that reflect the hidden order of the world.

Through this approach, the artist Kub seeks to transpose mathematical and algorithmic principles into a visual language, revealing that beauty can emerge from logic itself.

THE VISION OF ALQUARISM

The vision of Alquarism, initiated by the artist Kub, is deeply rooted in this philosophy and is distinguished by the combination of painting, sculpture, drawing, science, and algebra through carefully chosen themes.

His aim is to transmit the knowledge humanity possesses through codified works that reflect this multidisciplinary approach, echoing that of the ancient scholar, within a balanced repetition of geometric forms derived from the Golden Ratio.

FOUNDATIONS OF THE ALQUARISM CONCEPT

The material used in the conception of an Alquarism artwork forms the starting point of this artistic journey. It is around this central element that the artist’s creative process unfolds.
It determines the orientation of the lexical field through which the expression of this Cartesian spirit takes shape.

The use of the golden ratio establishes harmony among the figurative elements, while the color integrated into the composition conveys emotion, resonance, and movement — all emanating from the ineffable contemplative beauty of creation.

Through its innovative approach to conceptual art, Alquarism offers an original way to reclaim the idea of the radiance of knowledge — an inexhaustible source to be explored.
